J Satyanarayana Advisor(e-Governance Electronics & IT) Andhra Pradesh


J Satyanarayan has served the Indian Administrative Service, the permanent civil service of India, for 37 years. He is a pioneer in the design and implementation of e-Government programs and projects in India. He has been associated with the design and implementation of over 20 major e-government projects at the state and national levels. Among his notable achievements are the conceptualization and design of Passport Seva Project for the Ministry of External Affairs; MCA 21 for Ministry of Corporate Affairs; and. eTAAL, a portal that aggregates, analyzes and provides a dashboard view of the e-Government transactions on real-time, from over 300 projects and 2000 e-Services across India. He has also been instrumental in the design of a number of policies in the ICT sector at the national level in India. In this current position as Advisor to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, since June 2014, Satyanarayan has guided the design and notification of Blueprint of IT, Electronics and e-Governance; AP IT Policy 2014; AP Electronics Policy 2014; AP Innovation and Startup Policy 2014 and AP State Enterprise Architecture for e-Governance.
